Why is she always smiling?

I smile at strangers. I smile in photos. I even smile to myself! What's wrong with me?

I was in a couple of photos with Aboriginal translators last month, and when I was sent the photos I realised that none of the Aboriginal people had been smiling! I'm not sure why my culture thinks smiling in photos is most appropriate. They probably think I'm very strange...
