Give thanks for the old people missionaries

While Reconciliation Week events were happening all around Australia, here at Nungalinya College, church leaders from remote communities put on an evening celebration.

One lady said,

"I want to acknowledge the old people missionaries that took the gospel to [our communities]."

Another sang a song she had written about the first missionary that brought the gospel to their island. And other church leaders danced, sang and explained their artworks, all around the theme of reconciliation. 

Give thanks for the positive impact of the Gospel on so many people in the Northern Territory. And pray for further unity amongst Christians, and love and understanding between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
