The Christmas story in multiple Indigenous languages

One of my colleagues is trying to get Luke 2:6-12 translated into as many Indigenous Australian languages as possible, hopefully by next Christmas. We hope the project will raise awareness, among both Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians, of the value of Indigenous languages and the need for Bible translation. The new translations are being translated from the PEV, and one very experienced Aboriginal Bible translator said she found it easier to translate from the PEV than any other translation she's used.

Give thanks for the Christmas story project. Pray that Indigenous Australians will be keen to share God's good news with their communities in their own languages.
